Native Flowers is a series of drawings of endemic Hawaiian flowers, from the very common to presumed extinct. Many are diminutive and non-showy in real life. The story behind these drawings is based on scientific research and observation. I distill their unique forms and colors, and try to accurately represent each species with enough detail so that a naturalist would be able identify them.
